For the Givenchy Pre-Fall 2020 collection, Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller took cues from
Antiquity and transposed them to modern wardrobes designed for the movement.

Offering up the latest from Givenchy Menswear, the luxury french house recently unveiled its Pre-Fall 2020 Collection which turns to the lost city of Atlantis for aesthetic inspiration, in an unexpected setting that marries stark architecture and water.

Under Claire Waight Keller’s creative direction, the drop serves up a slew of bold coloured garments in the form of sharply tailored suits, shirts, and accessories alongside more subdued staples in black, navy, and khakis such as bombers, overcoats, and jumpers.

Equally, in tune with nature on a practical level, Keller spoke to WWD about her efforts continued to integrate sustainable materials into her collections:

“Talking to designers within our group, it’s something we’re all extremely conscious of. But it’s a process, it takes time, and I think even Stella has been quite open about the fact that it can take several years to get something to the point where it’s at a commercially acceptable level.”
